2. Collection and storage of personal data and purpose of use

  

a) Visit of the website

 

When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until being automatically deleted:

 

  • IP address of the users computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Website from which access takes place (referrer URL)
  • Used browser and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

The data mentioned above is processed by us for the following purposes:

 

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • For further administrative purposes
  • The legal basis for data processing is GDPR. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when visiting our website.

b) Use of our contact form

 

You can contact us via a form provided on the website. In order to do this, the specification of a valid e-mail address is required. Further information can be provided voluntarily. The obtaining of data for the purpose of contacting us is in accordance with GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent. The personal data collected by us through the user’s use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after completion of the request made by you.

 

c) Use of our email service


We process your data within the scope of the service "email communication" exclusively after your express consent for the processing
of personal data according to Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time. In addition, we need this data for the provision of our contractually agreed service within the framework of our General Terms and Conditions. We therefore collect, process and use your personal data as long as it is necessary for the establishment and execution of the contract and for invoicing purposes. The legal basis can be found in Art. 6 para. 1 (b) DSGVO. In connection with the provision of our email service, we collect the following categories of data:

 

  • Inventory data: this includes name and address

  • Content data: This includes data that is actively created or used by the user, such as e-mails and address book contacts. The e-mail content is legally protected against unauthorised access by third parties and is otherwise subject to telecommunications secrecy.

  • Usage data: i.e. all information arising from the use of the service. This data will be deleted after the end of use in accordance with legal
    Regulations.

  • Traffic data: within the meaning of § 96 TKG (information that arises during the use of an e-mail service) is deleted immediately after termination of the connection unless they are required for the purposes specified in § 96 number 1 TKG.

In the event of termination by the user, all inventory data shall be deleted immediately or the account shall be deleted, unless this conflicts with longer statutory retention periods. Traffic data shall be deleted at the latest after expiry of the statutory retention period.

  

3. Disclosure of data

 
A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below will not take place.

 

We only share your personal information with third parties if:

 

  • You, with accordance to GDPR have given express consent to this

  • The disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO is required to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have a predominantly legitimate interest in not disclosing your data

  • in the event that disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO a legal obligation exists, as well

  • this is permitted by law and this action is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or for the performance of any pre-contractual action that may be required by your request.

4. Cookies

 
We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device and they do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software. Within the cookie information is stored, each resulting in connection with the specific terminal used. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.


Firstly, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our service more agreeable for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our page. We use the Sentry.io tool to detect and fix errors on our website. Here, the IP address of the users of our website is temporarily recorded. A further use of the data does not take place. In this case, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website.

 

Facebook Custom Audience

 
We display on our web pages the remarketing service Custom Audience of Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA to provide users with targeted information about our products. When you visit our website, a connection created between the user's browser and the Facebook server is established via a tracking pixel created on Facebook and the use of a cookie. Facebook receives the information that the user has visited our website with his IP address. Facebook can thus assign the visit to our pages to the respective user account. In particular, you may provide information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed, the planned retention period, the right of rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a right to complain, the source of their data, if not collected from us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about their details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO to demand the rectification of incorrect or completed personal data stored by us immediately;
  • in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, to require the deletion of your personal data stored by us, except where the processing is for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims is required;
  • in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject their deletion and we no longer need the data, but you to assert, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR to obtain your personal data provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another person responsible;

7. Communication analysis email service

 
We review, scan and/or analyze the communications that you make through our email service. We do this only for fraud prevention, security risk assessment (spam, viruses, phishing attacks), regulatory compliance, product development and customer service improvement purposes. We generally use automated procedures for this purpose. However, we also reserve the right to check individual communications manually. 8. Right to object

 
If your personal data based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO are processed, you have the right to file an objection against the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct mail. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without stating a particular situation.

9. Data security

 
First of all, we point out that the protection of data from access by third parties is not guaranteed when transmitting data over the Internet. Liability on our part is excluded for damage or injunctive relief resulting from such security gaps.

We use the widely used Secure Socket Layer (SSL) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we'll use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

 

We also take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties.
